Cross Country Camp - Tuesday "Real Thing" Update

We have had a great week so far at Camp... the weather has been warm, but not to bad. On Monday we started off the week with the Summit run. It is essentially a long dirt road that just keeps climbing all the way up... and every year is one of the most difficult runs.

on Tuesday, we drove up to Scofield canyon to do the "infamous" Real Thing. This is a timed 4 mile race from coal mine road, to the top of a grueling 3 miles of dirt road and switch backs. The team performed extremely well...

Today we did the lake run finishing our long hot 5/7/9 mile run with a lake swim. I felt the team is running really well...

Tommorow is the Top of the world run... a timed race that pairs a girl and a boy from Camp together and is ran at about 10000 feet at the top of scofield canyon.

should be a fun event...

will post the details tommorow.
