Despite the cold weather and the missing kids, I felt really good about our teams performances today.
Several key performance led our girls team to their highest finish (3rd)

I want to congratulate Mckell Steele and Kaci McNeil for qualifying for state today.
Mckell threw the Javelin 107-06 to take 2nd place and Q for state!
Kaci McNeil qualified in the long jump 16-01.00
On the boys side, even though we did not compete in all of the events, I felt good about a 3rd place finish. It goes to show that every little point counts. It was our first 4a loss this year, to Maple Mountain.

All in all, the team had a number if PR's and there were several of you that were very close to a qualifying mark. Keep up the hard work, we 5 weeks left in this season, we do not want to loose site of the purpose of these meets, to prepare our team to win a region and state championship.
