Utah Distance Challenge
Info for meet:
Schedule:
4:00 pm Track open for warm-up
5:00 pm Girls 1600m
5:30 pm Boys 1600m
6:00 pm Girls 400m
6:20 pm Boys 400m
6:40 pm Girls 800m
7:05 pm Boys 800m
7:30 pm Girls 3200m
7:45 pm Boys 3200m
Cost:
$5 per athlete—covers all events. Registration and seeding will take place at the Oval on the day of the meet. No pre-registration is required. There is no cost to coaches or spectators.
Information:
1. We will run the fast heat first in each event. Races will not begin before the scheduled time, but may start late based on the number of participants.
2. 3/16 inch pyramid spikes. The same size spikes are required the following week at the UHSTCA Meet. Spikes may only be worn on the track surface. Please remove your spikes when leaving the track.
3. Athletes need to be at the starting line for check-in 15 minutes prior to their event.
4. We have permission from the Olympic Oval to bring in our own food, but need to be sure to clean up after ourselves.
5. Runners from states other than Utah are invited to participate.

2012 Track Team Meeting

Candace Greenwood - 1 Mile 5:29.59 (6th Overall)
Sam Reeves - 60 M 8.21 (4th Overall)
Sam Reeves - 200 M 27.46 (5th Overall)
Rachel Stratton - 800 2:47.97 Nice start coming from injury!
Cooper Saffell - HJ 5-04.25 Not bad for no HJ practice this year yet!

BYU Indoor Track and Field Meet
Team, this weekend is the BYU Indoor track meet. If you would like to participate, please let me know prior to Friday at 12 Noon and I would be happy to register you as part of the team. Registration will only be accepted on-line.
- January 13th - 14th
- BYU Smith Field House - Indoor Track facility
- $4 per event
- Check In - All athletes must check in when they arrive at the fieldhouse to pay their fees and pickup their wrist band. Please check-in early to minimize the lines. We would encourage a coach or representative to check in for an entire team, pay the complete fee and pick up a wrist band for each athlete. Team check-in would best be done on Friday.
- Reporting for events - Athletes that do not report when called will be scratched. Please arrive early and report for your event when you are called. Events will be seeded after check-in so that we can reduce the number of empty lanes. If you are scratched for not checking in, you will not be allowed to compete. Please check in!
